Mother’s Day is this weekend! No need to stress out, I’ve got you covered. I have put together a Mother’s Day Gift Guide with awesome gift ideas that are mostly quite budget friendly.
Honestly, being a mom ain’t easy. It’s a 24/7 full-time job with no pay and no vacation days. (I guess we do get paid in kisses and cuddles.) As hard as it is, it is seriously the most rewarding experience ever. I’m so blessed to have my two boys, and cannot imagine life without them.
To me, Mother’s Day is a special day every year. But with all this craziness going on in the world right now, I think it’s even more important that we take a moment to thank and appreciate our moms. Obviously, this doesn’t have to be in the form of a gift, but who doesn’t love presents, amiright??
I put together a list of gift ideas for any type of mom out there. And they are for any budget (affordable, mid-range, pricey), so you’re bound to find something for your mom (or mother-in-law, or sister, or friend). Ok, let’s be real–these are gifts that I would love to receive!
Without further ado, here’s my Mother’s Day Gift Guide!

Personalized Jewelry
Stella & Dot
They have a whole range of different jewelry that you can get personalized–necklaces, rings, and bracelets. And there are a variety of styles to choose from. You can get it engraved, or add charms too. I think a necklace with letter charms with your children’s initials would be such a wonderful gift!

A Nice Purse
What woman doesn’t love a nice quality purse? I know there are so many out there to choose from.
Able
I’ve been seeing so many things from Able that I absolutely love! I love that this company is all about helping women in need and empowering them to get back on their own feet. You can read more about it here.
In the product descriptions, you can read about who designed the products, the story behind the products, and where it’s made as well. So if you shop with them, you are buying something beautiful and high quality, but you’re also supporting a great cause. Win win!
They have high quality clothes, bags, and some beautiful minimalist customizable jewelry as well.
I got a pair of earrings during their sale, and I love that their jewelry is very simple, yet unique so it also makes a statement in a way.
My husband got me the Abera Crossbody Tote for my birthday present last year, and I love it! The quality is amazing, and I love that it can fit so many things inside.
I plan on purchasing a tote organizer so that I can keep things a bit more organized inside.

19 Affordable Korean Skincare Products You Can Order From Amazon
I have a whole post dedicated to the best Korean skincare products that I recommend that you can conveniently order from Amazon! If you’re thinking about gifting skincare, I highly recommend you check out that post!
Soko Glam
Soko Glam is where I usually get my Korean skincare. Especially living in the Midwest, Korean skincare is not readily available in stores.
I love all these products that Charlotte Cho (the co-founder of Soko Glam) curates for Soko Glam. She puts a lot of thought into the products that she curates. Charlotte is a licensed aesthetician and wrote a book about skincare as well. She really knows her stuff!
I’ve talked about several of my favorite products in the Hospital Bag Checklist post, so make sure to check that out.
Innisfree Skincare Set
I’ve been a fan of Innisfree for years. I love that they use a lot of natural ingredients. Their products are great, packaging is always beautiful, and they are affordable!
My mother-in-law loves this green tea set, so that’ll be one of the things I’m getting for her this year. It’s light–moisturizing yet not feeling too sticky, and the scent is refreshing. It’s perfect for the upcoming summertime.
Pamper Sesh
A giftcard to a nearby spa for a massage, or to a salon for a haircut and color, or a mani/pedi would be such an amazing gift! Especially for those busy moms out there, who don’t have the time to pamper themselves on a regular basis. Everyone needs to take time for self-care!
But sadly, since this global pandemic is probably going to be keeping us home for a while, I think creating a little at-home pampering kit would be great too!
Below are some ideas of things you could include. These could be gifted together or separately
Bath salts
Essential Oils
Nail Polish Kit
I love the Everything Box from Olive & June! It comes with 6 polishes (you choose the colors) and a top coat. And it comes with several tools that help you master at-home manis.
Head and Neck Massager
I get a lot of tension headaches. This helps me get the knots out of my shoulders and neck. I also use this to massage my feet. It’s the perfect at-home massager! So GOOD!
Kitchen Gadgets
KitchenAid Stand Mixer
This stand mixer would be such a nice gift for a mom who loves baking. Especially now that we’re all at home all the time, I hear that many people are baking more. Isn’t it gorgeous?! Definitely on my wish list.
Instant Pot
I got this instant pot last year during the black friday sales, and I’m so glad I did! This is so versatile. You can even make yogurt in it! Also, there’s a sterilizing setting, which is so convenient if you’re pumping or bottle feeding.
Kindle Unlimited
For those moms who love books, Kindle unlimited membership would be amazing! Especially during this global pandemic where most of us are social distancing, libraries and most stores are closed. What better time to try out Kindle Unlimited? You can download and instantly read on your device–so convenient!
Amazon Prime
I feel like most of us millennial moms already have Amazon Prime (I think it’s one of the most amazing things ever), but do all your moms? I know some people would much prefer seeing the products in person before purchasing.
Again, with all this social distancing where we can’t just go out and shop like we used to–it’s SO CONVENIENT to have things delivered right to your door for free! Returns are super easy, plus discounted prices with Subscribe and Save, and also the membership comes with Prime Video! Can you tell how much I love Amazon Prime?
If your mom isn’t too sure about it, there is a 30-day free trial to try it out first. And if she likes it, sign her up for the year!
Exercise
Since all gyms are closed for the time being, I think gifting a subscription to an online exercise class would be a wonderful.
Subscription to Classes: Barre3
I recently signed up for the 15-day free trial for Barre3. I loved it so much, I’m going to keep the subscription for another couple months.
Workout Clothes:
What better motivation to work out than new workout clothes? I’m listing some popular options below.
Fabletics, Lululemon, Athleta
Amazon Leggings
This is a more affordable option that has raving reviews! I got a pair of these, and they are buttery smooth and super comfortable. Consider me impressed!
Shoes
Again, what better motivation to exercise than some nice new workout shoes. I think these two options are super cute!
Adidas NMD’s
I got a pair of these last year, and I love how they look and how comfortable they are. There wasn’t a “breaking in” period for these shoes!
Adidas Ultraboost
Subscription Boxes
Perfume Subscription: Skylar
Ever since I started on my Fertility Journey, I have been more cautious with the products I use, and try to use more clean products.
I had always been a perfume person, and I would even put on perfume on those days I wouldn’t go out, but I stopped using perfumes since getting pregnant with my first son. In part, this had to do with my severe morning sickness, but I also found out that most perfumes have a lot of harsh chemicals in them.
I was very excited to find Skylar. They are a clean fragrance company, and they even have a subscription box where you get a new scent every month!
My current scent obsession is Magic Bloom. It smells SO GOOD!
I think gifting the subscription for a couple months would be a wonderful idea, or another would be to gift the “Scent Experience”. There are 6 sample sizes and a $78 gift card. So after she tries out all the scents, she can buy a full-sized bottle with the gift card after.
They also have body lotion and deodorant as well!
Clothing Subscription
Going along with the subscription theme, I think it would be great to give a gift card for Stitch Fix or Trunk Club (Nordstrom) for a mom who enjoys staying on trend but doesn’t have the time to actually go shopping.
Makeup Subscription
A makeup subscription would be great for those beauty lover moms! It’s a fun way to try new products without having to commit to a full-size.
Allure
$15/month
Gifting options can be for 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year.
Ipsy
$10/month $110/year
Sephora Play!
$10/month
Devotionals
I recently found out about Ruth Chou Simons and have been following her on Instagram. She is just such a positive person who shares truth in an encouraging way, through words and her art. And she’s a fellow mom–she has 6 sons–can you believe it?! 6!
She has several devotionals. My husband and I recently started Foundations, which is written by Ruth and her husband Troy. And we have been loving it. Highly recommend!

The Mama Gift Set from Tubby Todd
I have been using the All Over Ointment on my older son who struggles with eczema. And it has been working wonders on his skin.
Tubby Todd Bath Co recently came out with a gift set for moms. I think this would be such a nice gift for an expecting mom, or a new mom on her first Mother’s Day!
Letters to My Children/Grandchildren
This is one of the things I got for my mother-in-law this year. I think it’s just such a sweet concept!

Handmade Cards From Kids
And of course, you can’t go wrong with handmade cards from the kids! Check out my Easy No Mess Craft for Young Toddlers and Babies. That craft was catered to Valentine’s Day, but you could totally make something similar for Mother’s Day as well!
Breakfast in Bed With Flowers
If you live with you mom, or if there are any hubbies reading this–breakfast in bed with flowers is always a nice gesture too!
Call Her!
Obviously, an actual hug would be the best, but since we’re all still social distancing, make sure you give your mom a call/Facetime/Skype and tell her you love her!
I hope you found this Mother’s Day Gift Guide helpful and got some ideas for what you can give or do for the special mom in your life!
These are great ideas! I’m definitely in the market for a new purse haha. I’ll have to drop a hint to husband 😉
