We are starting homeschool preschool in a week, so I’m in full lesson planning mode right now!
Lesson planning can be a little daunting, but I’ve learned from my 5 years’ teaching experience that having a good lesson planner can make all the difference!

Lesson Planner Template
I like having my lesson plans in a binder so it’s organized into one unit rather than having loose sheets of paper everywhere.
I got mine (1.5″ ring binder) at Target. But I’ll link a similar one from Amazon here.
And I also really liked having enough room in my lesson planning sheets to write in extra notes. So my lesson planner is on two separate pages so there will be enough room and you won’t have to cram in too much onto one page.
Before I continue, I do need to thank my talented husband for creating this lesson planner template! Thanks, babe!
You can see below how I use it in a binder. I love having the pages face each other so I don’t have to flip back and forth, and I can have a week at a glance.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a color printer so it doesn’t look so pretty. But the gray parts are supposed to be a beautiful mint green as you can see in the preview image below!

Binder Cover
And also, what’s a lesson planning binder without a cover! I’ve created two cover options you can choose from!
Here’s what mine looks like in the binder 🙂
